*Alternate Two Color Application Method – Working in sections, apply a full coat of a single color of Venetian Gem® to the wall.Wet/dry fine sanding with 1000-1200 grit black finishing paper will make the final burnishing procedure easier. A stainless steel/wooden or plastic trowel will work best for this procedure. Repeat this procedure until the desired shine is achieved. The final burnish is achieved by laying the trowel at a 45º angle and applying pressure as the trowel is moved across the surface. Once all the layers are completely dry, the material is ready to be polished.Try to avoid creating obvious patches, but rather interlace the colors as you go. When this layer has dried, this process may be repeated until the desired look is achieved.

This first coat should be applied as smoothly as possible however, air pitting and graceful trowel lines or skip toweling are permitted in this first base layer.

Using a thin flexible application trowel (stainless steel or plastic) apply Venetian Gem® over the entire surface.

Choose a base color that is similar to the selected Venetian Gem® hue for easy and less need product coverage. For best results allow to dry overnight before applying Venetian Gem®. Apply at least one coat of Setcoat® allowing 2-4 hours to dry between coats.
